Grainol Limited is a socially responsible company promoting the use of renewable energy.

By using the best available technology, it can support the reduction of green house gases to assist in the global efforts to improve our environment.

Grainol will produce bioethanol (also known as ethanol) from a variety of grains including wheat, barley, corn, sorghum all of which are suited to the fermentation process which produces bio ethanol.

Ethanol is environmentally friendly and can be used in a variety of ways, the most popular being:

  • Bioethanol for renewable fuels
  • drinking quality alcohol for beverages
  • pharmaceutical purposes
  • non-toxic industrial alcohol.

This is a working website, Grainol will be continuously improving and updating information as the project develops…

Grainol Rockingham Project

East Rockingham Bioethanol Project:

Grainol proposes to develop a bioethanol plant at Lot 1490 within the East Rockingham Industrial Park located immediately adjacent to the Kwinana Industrial Area, 40km south of Perth.

An environmental impact assessment of the proposed project is currently being undertaken to identify any potential impacts resulting from its development and operation and to recommend management strategies to address these impacts. Grainol has engaged Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) to manage the preparation of this impact assessment and technical studies.
