BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF GRAINOL

 

Max de Grussa - Chairman

 

Max established the consulting company Envirotas Ltd (UK) of which he is Managing Director. 

 

Envirotas Ltd established Vireol plc to build two bioethanol plants in the north east of England to supply fuel ethanol to the developing EU market and Baltic Ethanol AB in Sweden to supply ethanol to the Swedish market. 

 

Having founded these various projects, which will use wheat to produce bioethanol  the potential to use Australian wheat for the production of bioethanol was realised and Grainol Ltd was established in Western Australia in 2005. 

 

Max having been an integral part of a team which brought a renewable fuels project to its successful admission to the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in June 2004, is currently consulting on several further projects in Europe including ethanol and wind energy.

 

Prior to moving to the UK, Max managed a partnership in Perth, Western Australia as a consultant to start-up and expanding businesses. Max holds several UK and Australian directorships.

Colette Menegola – Managing Director

Colette is responsible for the establishment of Grainol as a company and the development of the bioethanol project in Western Australia.

 

She has much of the technical and financial aspects of the project in place and has been working with the Vireol team in the UK who provide supporting bioethanol information.

 

The developmental phase of the project is underway and she is engaging key people for the board of management, consulting, technical and the build of the bioethanol plant.

 

Colette is a graduate from Edith Cowan University, and has worked in various research and developmental projects on a management basis before being appointed as the Managing Director of Envirotas (Australia).

Stephen Thompson – Non Executive Director

Stephen has been a partner in Shakespeare & Co Chartered Accountants since 1 July 1990 and in this period provided advice to a large range of clients including a number of companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange covering areas of taxation, structure and financing. 

 

He obtained Bachelor of Business degree in 1985 from Western Australian Institute of Technology (Curtin University).  He joined an international chartered accounting firm in January 1985 and was admitted as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants on 1 July 1988.

 

Currently a Registered Company Auditor and Registered Tax Agent.  Stephen holds a number of director positions for private companies.

Jacqui de Grussa - Executive Manager

 

Jacqui as the Executive Manager of Grainol is responsible for the coordination and management of company executives, site specific environmental portfolio, human resources, public relations as well as heading up and managing specific corporate projects.

 

Jacqui has a Bachelor of Psychology combined with an extended history in sales, promotional and management positions in both the Government and private sectors.

 

Jacqui has been involved with the Grainol project since March 2006.
