WestPetro is well advanced in the development of a wheat to ethanol plant in Western Australia.
WestPetro will process 500,000 tonnes of high starch Energy Grain into 190 million litres of fuel grade ethnaol annually. This will double the size of the current domestic grain market and enhance Western Australian fuel security.
Grainol Limited
Grainol was established in October 2005 and is a project management Company. In the latter of 2008, Grainol formed the Company "WestPetro Pty Ltd" for the build and management of a grain to ethanol plant. This plant will be located in Kwinana, approximately 25km South of Perth Western Australia. The business model is based on domestic and export markets for ethanol sales.
WestPetro is forming partnerships with local Western Australian Companies to ensure the ongoing success of the project and the ethanol industry in Western Australia.
